The Parents Hit 44 Years

Saturday was my parents 44th wedding anniversary. I wish'd we could have been there to celebrate with them but they had to settle on a card and a gift certificate I'd given them to a yummy restaraunt they love. 44 years..Wow..My mom and dad have gone through a lot together but they always got through it. Total role models for my brother and me. My cousin told my mom "Wow Tia, you and Jack are a rare breed. You just don't see couples last as long as you guys do." I totally agree. Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad! Your (adopted) son and I love you!

Wow 44 years! That is awesome. You don't hear that very often any more.
Hey I need to get a hold of you and I don't think I have your email address or phone number. So if you could email me your number at mikerubble@yahoo.com I need to talk to you.

robin, 44 years is a very long time and very impressive. but, your parents totally don't look old enough to have been married for so long!!! maybe staying young is the key:)
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!
love,
dani

Mine just had their woulda-been 51st anniversary. My dad passed away just before it.

For their 50th - we had a family vacation in Palm Springs. It was wonderful and the video and pictures are just priceless.

I can't even imagine living to 50, much less living to 50 years as a wife (sarcasm, here...I am a joker when faced with adversity, sorry)

COngrats to your mom and dad and family.

Robin, thank you so much for all your comments and encouragement!

I'm married. I have 3 kids. I have a big nose. Now go on and catch up.

Keep it nice or I'll post your email and make fun of you.
