Twitter Jerks

Ok, so I have accepted that I don't get a lot of responses to my tweets on Twitter. There are a few people that I will no longer leave comments on their blogs cuz they BLATANTLY ignore me when I tweet back to them. Yes, I am mature like that.

One particular person really chaps my hide. I don't know why exactly but he really irks me when he tweets. I could go on and on and on about this topic but seriously, what's the point? People are who they are and I can't kill them. Accept it Robin and move on....

So imagine my surprise yesterday when I run into my bloggy friend Jill at Retro..We haven't seen each other since our coffee morning at Starbucks months ago..We chat for a minute and then she says the funniest thing I had heard all day:

"What's been goin on with you? You've been writing the weirdest things on twitter lately!"

I doubt many bloggers actually get face-to-face feedback regarding their tweets so me being the nutjob weirdo that I am, thought it was totally BOSS! Yes, I was a teenager in the 80's, people.

Now that I have some serious twitter affirmation, I am declaring that this cancels out any irritation I feel when I twit at least for a day or so, cuz I am so mature like that.

Thank you Jill! Now everyone, go to her blog and read about how she's raising money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Then donate some green in honor of her acknowledging me on Twitter..face to a bakery..with cupcakes in our hands..

Now I'm off to irritate myself people on twitter.

Cuz I'm cool like dat.

I guess I should respond to you on Twitter more often. Sometimes I get annoyed with people who have SOOOO many tweets that they fill the entire page, so I try to keep my twitter-droppings at any given time a little briefer! It really was good to see you, we absolutely do need to hit Starbucks again soon. Especially as it's getting chillier!

I hate being ignored on Twitter... it makes me a little twitchy. It's not bad enough I'm ignored at home, I also have to deal with it on the internet.
We really need that trip to Hawaii.

I so don't get the Twitter thing, and trust me I'm hooked on my Crackberry, blog, Facebook but I guess I can't think of enough exciting "stuff" to twitter about. BTW, found your blog, I think through Sarah Nielson, not just some random stalker. :)

Well I like your immature sense of humor. I happen to pride myelf on mine. Now jump up on that stage, roll your short sleeves up to your shoulders and before you know'll be on Friends! Cause your BOSS like that!

(Just reminded me that when I first met my husband he had a Hugo Boss sweatshirt with a hole in the stomach area because he stole a lightbulb and it burned a hole in his shirt...)

I can't speak for others, but I read every single tweet directed at me. I suck at replying because I don't want my Twitter feed to be straight replies, but they do make me giggle.

The frog, in a below post, however does not. In my girlie girl voice I'm ewwwwwing very loudly as I type.

The twitter idea is fabulous, and what an amazing verb it makes - "Yes, I've been twittering all day long." I had it attached to my blog until my BFF said that it took FOR-EVER to load my page at work... SO I took it off. I am not one of those people who checks the internet on the phone, I am one of those people who (if I want to send a text) takes like 10 minutes to write a message becuase the keys on my archaic phone have 3 letters (and numbers) each. Good for you for twittering, when I get a fancy phone, I will once again twitter on a daily basis. :)

I never know how to handle the whole twitter thing - I try to comment, leave comments on blogs but' don't really check twitter that much (not that anyone follows me, like 5 people)
I am adding myself to following you on twitter and will leave some comments!

I'm married. I have 3 kids. I have a big nose. Now go on and catch up.

Keep it nice or I'll post your email and make fun of you.
